there is a nostalgia and romance to film that is undeniable. there's a reason why digital tries to use filters and presets to mimic it. but the true magic of film isn't just the look of it, it's the intentionality and slowness that comes with it. with limited shots per film roll, we're forced to carefully consider every frame, with often vintage cameras, we quite literally handle the past with every shot. there is a presence that comes with film that is felt far beyond just the timeless aesthetic.

the beautiful thing about film is that it passes through multiple hands of artists. i take your photos on physical film and then collaborate with a trusted lab to thoughtfully develop and scan that film into digital images that you'll then receive.
it's a labor of love that usually takes around 3 weeks.
