To hold a space created from love--whether it's the birth room or a messy living room, is the greatest honor. One I don't take lightly...
There is a nostalgia and romance to film that is undeniable. There's a reason why digital tries to use filters and presets to mimic it. But the true magic of film isn't just the look of it, it's the intentionality and slowness that comes with it. With limited shots per film roll, we're forced to carefully consider every frame, with often vintage cameras, we quite literally handle the past with every shot. There is a presence that comes with film that is felt far beyond just the timeless aesthetic.
